So I have to drive Mike home today, no big deal. So, I'm at the intersection of 6th and Marie, I'm waiting at the stop sign for a bunch of cars to pass when I spot something shiny, there's a police motorcycle (lights on) and a fire truck (lights off) so Mike and I are trying to see what's happening and this long line of cars goes by with their flashers on, Mike kind of yells at them for not pulling over to let the motorcycle pass. I manage to get behind the last of the cars with the flashers on and mike and I decided to follow them. And we did, we went down to Family Connections and down towards Fleming Field. Mike remembers that there's a cemetery down there and we start laughing because we apparently got caught smack dab in the middle of a funeral prosession. Oops.
So I hooked a u-turn and headed back to mike's place and he did a tuck and roll out of my car, getting covered in snow. . . So I head home. And again, I notice a strange mess of cars up ahead. At the intersection of Southview, the one by Dairy Queen, some guy had apparently tried to make a left turn when he wasn't supposed to or something because there was a police car with his lights on, right behind him. And I need to go straight at this intersection but I really can't because the police car and the guy are blocking two lanes of traffic. I eventually managed to get around him, nobody would let me into the right turn lane so I could go around them. Bastards.
Russia is next week! I'm so excited, I've got most of my packing done, I just need to do my carry on and I'm good. :D
