O.O

Man it's been a while, the hustle and bustle of senior year and starting college kinda got me distracted and I forgot all about this blog. But here I am again! :D Watching America's Next Top Model, getting odd looks from everybody who passes my room, is it really that weird to be sitting on the bed and working on a laptop. Or is it that I'm not lofting? o.O Who knows, it's odd, they should stop and say hi, I won't bite or anything like that. . . . who knows, a large number of the girls on my floor last year didn't seem to like me at all, and who knows they could be cautioning the new girls not to talk to Turtle because she's weird, doesn't like country music and listens to non-English music. -sigh-

A new year is here!

Well, what is new, well, a month long trip to Russia, pretty fricking sweet, went perfectly until we had to leave. XD The plane broke. So yeah, awesomeness there.

Oh, I'm now employed at Jimmy John's, pretty alright, it's a fun place depending on who's working there. Some people ask really weird questions though. XD I can't wait for december because then I can be a driver. Weird I know, but what's not to love about driving to people's houses, bringing them food, and driving back to work while listening to my favorite songs the entire time. ^^

Oh, new school year means new teachers, my mom was excited because she thought I was getting a virgin teacher (Meaning they've been working at the school for about 10 years, but haven't taught either of my brothers) And I thought he was going to be one too, but he asked about you today Derek, so I dunno. But being the good little student I am, I already have started a list of words that the man can't pronounce correctly. :P

Also, Super Junior? KICK ASS! I dunno about you, but you've got to love a boy band from South Korea that has 13 members. ^o^ Le sigh, I can't wait for them to release the DVD of their first concert. -flails in a corner-

Oh, I think I'm not going to be responsible with my money this year, I hope to go to Anime Detour, Convergence, and Kakkoi Con. Three cons in a summer seems like a bucket of fun. That and I think a few of my friends are actually going to be going this year. :D

-sigh-

I want my own Momo. It would be so nice to have him waiting for me everyday. (Cookie if you actually know what I'm talking about.)

The Heck Tenimyu?!

All right, so, I've been doing my own six degrees of seperation project. But to be fun, I decided to do my favorite musical from japan: The Prince of Tennis Musicals. So, I've been mostly sticking with actors and seeing how far I could get and not make a connection. I've gone out of my way to go obscure, but still kinda in japan, because outside of that, it's just mean, though now, I could do a few short jumps to america through me and high school musical (*shudder* don't ask). So a new movie just came out recently in japan called Crows Zero, didn't seem too special, high school full of badasses beating the crap out of each other, my kind of movie right, that and it's directed by my favorite bad movie director, Takashi Miike, so of course I had to see it. So I'm watching this thinking, okay musical actors stick to happy, angst and romance, there's no way in hell are there going to be any in here. . . I was wrong. . . . Takuya, the happy go lucky, hasn't touched an action scene since he beat someone in stage tennis. That little fluffy boy is in the movie! What is going on?!?!

Oh and I absolutely must buy this movie once it's released in America, seeing how Oguri Shun does nothing but the nice, kind, semi-stoic boy, it's so frickin cool seeing him all badass. =)

Trip, Day One

Hi! Turtle desu! It’s the day of the trip, you all excited?! I’m so excited I could run away! But I’m not gonna, I’m really looking forward to this trip. I’m gonna be heading to the airport soon, gotta pick up my teacher though. XD I figure that I should start blogging this trip so here we go!

That’s me at mah house, enjoying the nice weather before the stress and freaking out of last minute packing.

Here I am doing the last minute crazy packing, not really, I was done packing on Monday, it was just the stuff I needed to survive before today. Man, it’s gonna be fun wheeling this around.

Okay, everything’s been packed away in the car, the butterflies in my stomach are getting annoying but I can’t wait,

Well, I'm off to the airport, I hope to post something later after I get to MOSCOW! ^^

Small Oddity

I was driving to Cub, questing for more tea. One thing dear lord! 1.5 liters of iced tea, 99 cents at walmart. 1.60 at cub! My god!

Okay, so I was at a stop light, waiting to go through, and a guy across the street was waiting in the left turn lane. So I see him hop out of the car and quick run to his trunk, I thought he was just grabbing a jacket or something like that, but no, he grabs a gas tank and proceeds to top off his tank. He keeps looking at the light, trying to beat it, but of course he doesn't. He starts waving for people to go around him, problem is, there was a huge line of people waiting to turn right or go straight, so they can't go around him. XD I just found it giggle worthy.

2 days til russia! The school expects us to come to school for a half day the day we leave. (Bish please) And then, we get home at some point late on monday, and they expect us back on Tuesday. HA! I'm definitely staying home.

Today was the day I became a man

(kinda, still female though)

Guess what?! I had my first car accident today. At about 10:40-ish at night, pretty good, seeing how I wasn't even in the car. I was parked on the street where I usually do, and some guy (kinda tipsy if you ask me) was backing out of the driveway across the street from me and happened to hit the front of my car. Nothing big but I still found it kinda funny that he came over to tell me and kept talking about how he could've just not told us.
